Lithuanian analytical center declared undesirable in Russia

The official specified that the center's activities pose a threat to the foundations of Russia’s constitutional system and security

MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. The Russian Prosecutor General's Office has declared the activities of Lithuania’s NGO Riddle as undesirable in Russia, the agency’s spokesperson Andrey Ivanov told TASS on Tuesday.

"Based on the examination of received materials, the Prosecutor General's Office made a decision to recognize the foreign non-governmental organization Riddle (the Riddle analytical center, the Republic of Lithuania) as undesirable on Russian territory," he said. The official specified that the center's activities pose a threat to the foundations of Russia’s constitutional system and security.

Information on the decision was submitted to the Ministry of Justice to be included in the list of foreign and international NGOs recognized as undesirable in Russia.
