Engine tests for Angara-A5M launch vehicle completed

Successful completion of the tests opens the way to supply engines for flights, Roscosmos said

MOSCOW, March 26. /TASS/. Development tests of RD-191M engines designed for the Angara-A5M heavy launch vehicle were completed, the Russian space corporation Roscosmos said.

"Development tests, with their goal to confirm conformity of engine characteristics to requirements of the statement of work, were held in Energomash since January. Their successful completions opens the way to supply engines for flights," the state corporation said.

The RD-191M engine uses kerosene and liquid oxygen.
