BEIJING, October 30. /TASS/. The exchange of information on missile launches, which the United States coordinates with South Korea and Japan, is aimed at controlling Russia and China, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said at the 10th Xiangshan Security Forum.
"Washington is organizing an information exchange about missile launches with South Korea and Japan. This information then will be used to help US troops stationed in the Asia-Pacific region contain China and Russia," he said.
According to the Russian defense minister, "the US-centric bloc deterrence network created by the United States and its allies, based on Indo-Pacific strategies, acts as the vanguard of NATO in the Asia-Pacific region."
Concerning NATO's military buildup in the Asia-Pacific region, Shoigu stated that "the United States’ military-biological activities are gaining momentum, within the framework of which a whole network of laboratories has been deployed in Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, and South Korea."
