Protecting investor interests helped halt exodus of foreign brands, authorities say

"The work done to protect foreign investors who meet their obligations in good faith," the Office of Prosecutor General said

MOSCOW, February 7. /TASS/. Efforts to protect the rights of bona fide foreign investors helped to prevent the exodus of certain international brands from Russia, the Office of Prosecutor General said on its website.

The Prosecutor General's Office stressed that given the barrage of sanctions from the West, the disruption of logistics chains and the restrictions on import and export of goods, supporting business and attracting investment were of substantial importance.

"The work done to protect foreign investors who meet their obligations in good faith, contributed to preserving the presence of a number of large transnational companies and international brands in the economy," the Office of Prosecutor General said.
