Over the past week, the Ukrainian armed forces have attempted to impose a transport blockade and carried out heavy strikes against Energodar, a satellite city of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik told TASS.

"Kiev is attempting to impose a transport blockade and launch massive strikes against Energodar, a city of energy workers in the Zaporozhye Region. Five civilians were injured in artillery shelling by Ukrainian forces targeting the Zaporozhye NPP’s sports complex. Attacks by enemy FPV drones continued to target cottages on Pridneprovskaya Street. A massive drone raid was recorded in the area of Energodar’s city park," he said.
