Trade, investments between Russia and Belarus growing every year — Putin

The Russian leader stressed that favorable conditions to pursue the unified macroeconomic policy were created all over the territory of the Union State

MOSCOW, February 26. /TASS/. The volume of trade and investments between Russia and Belarus is growing every year and the bilateral trade turnover totaled about $52 bln in 2025, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State.

"The bilateral Russian and Belarusian trade and investments are growing from year to year. The trade turnover increased by almost 3% this time in 2025. Our statistics may differ a little but the figure is very sound overall, $52 billion," the Russian leader said.

Favorable conditions to pursue the unified macroeconomic policy were created all over the territory of the Union State of Russia and Belarus, Putin stressed. Large-scale projects in industry, transport, agriculture, high and science-intensive technologies are being implemented, he noted.
