Russian Foreign Ministry calls drone attack on Transnistrian military unit provocation

MOSCOW, April 6. /TASS/. The kamikaze drone attack on the Transnistrian military unit is a provocation aimed at aggravating the situation around the region, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

"On April 5, a kamikaze drone attacked a Transnistrian military unit, as a result of which the radar station was damaged. We consider this incident another provocation aimed at aggravating the already tense situation around Transnistria," she said.

Zakharova noted that Russia expects "a thorough investigation into all the circumstances of what happened." "We hope that those behind this reckless action are fully aware of its dangerous consequences," she concluded.
