MOSCOW, October 20. /TASS/. Outgoing British Prime Minister Liz Truss will be remembered for her woeful ignorance, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

"Britain has never had such a prime minister. Everyone will remember her riding a tank in a military helmet, her catastrophic ignorance and the queen’s funeral right after an audience with Liz Truss," the diplomat wrote on Telegram.

Earlier on Thursday, British Prime Minister Liz Truss announced her resignation after just 45 days in office, turning out to be the shortest-serving prime minister in British history. Truss became the country’s prime minister on September 6, replacing Boris Johnson, who had resigned in early July.
