Russia’s UN deputy envoy to Ukraine’s foreign minister: Kiev pays weapon bills with grain

Polyanskiy wrote in response to Kuleba’s tweet, who claims that Russia is blocking ports to stop food exports from Ukraine

UNITED NATIONS, May 21. /TASS/. Russia’s First Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations Dmitry Polyanskiy indicated to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba that Kiev pays its weapons bills with Ukrainian grain, the Russian diplomat wrote on Twitter on Saturday.

Polyanskiy wrote in response to Kuleba’s tweet, who claims that Russia is blocking ports to stop food exports from Ukraine.

"New lows of hypocrisy attained! You know better than others that Russia does not block food export from Ukraine’s ports. You keep them mined and use foreign ships there as human shields," the Russian diplomat wrote.

"And ongoing land food export from your country doesn’t go to Africa but pays your weapon bills," he stressed.
