Ukrainian military deals massive blow to Donetsk city center

Five civilians wounded

DONETSK, February 19. /TASS/. Ukrainian troops launched a massive attack on the Donetsk city center on Sunday afternoon, hitting residential apartment buildings and civilian infrastructure facilities. According to preliminary reports, there are wounded.

"There are wounded, according to preliminary data. We are clarifying the information," the administration of Donetsk's central Voroshilovsky district told TASS.

The territorial defense headquarters of the Donetsk People’s Republic says that five civilians were wounded. "As a result of shelling by Ukrainian troops of Donetsk’s Voroshilovsky district, five civilians were wounded," it wrote on its Telegram channel.

According to the representative office of the Donetsk People's Republic in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine, 40 shells from multiple launch rocket systems were fired from the positions of Ukrainian troops in 2 minutes.
