MOSCOW, May 12. /TASS/. Seven people were injured in a shelling by the Ukrainian side of the village of Solokhi in Russia’s Belgorod region on Wednesday, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov announced on Thursday.
"Seven people were injured, one more person was brought in late at night. Everyone is receiving quality medical care. One person died. We will provide material assistance to all injured and the family of the deceased," Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.
It was reported earlier, on Wednesday, the Solokhi settlement in the Belgorod region was shelled from the Ukrainian side. According to preliminary information, one residential building was partially destroyed. Russia’s south-western Belgorod region borders the Dergachev and Kharkov districts of Ukraine’s Kharkov Region. The Solokhi settlement is about 11 km away from the border.
