Cloud infrastructure destroyed, Beget hosting provider says

According to the company's spokesperson, only a half of virtual private servers users may receive their backups in files

MOSCOW, November 6. /TASS/. The cloud infrastructure of Beget was destroyed due to a cyberattack, the hosting provider said on its Telegram account.

"Regrettably, the cloud infrastructure was destroyed. We are building the cloud infrastructure anew," the Beget spokespersons said.

As regards the functioning of virtual private servers (VPS) on Beget, the current assessment is that only a half of users will receive their backups in files. "We regret saying that all the data cannot be recovered," the company said in the VPS situation update.
