China's fertilizer imports from Russia rise 58.6% in 1H 2026

The bulk of imports consisted of potash fertilizers

BEIJING, July 20. /TASS/. China increased the value of its fertilizer imports from Russia by 58.6% year-on-year to $1.10 bln in January-June 2026, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of China.

In the same period of 2025, the value of the shipments totaled $692.67 mln.

The bulk of imports consisted of potash fertilizers. Their import value rose by 59.8% to $1.03 bln, up from $647.18 mln a year earlier.

Imports of nitrogen fertilizers fell by 78.2% to $49,900.
