Rosatom delivered uranium, gold mining target for 2025

First Deputy CEO of Rosatom Nedra Alexey Shemetov said that commercial operation of the Severnoye goldfield in Yakutia kicked off

MOSCOW, January 30. /TASS/. Companies of the Rosatom’s mining division delivered the 100% target of uranium and gold mining in 2025, the press service said.

"The annual meeting of the division’s management with stakeholders took place in Rosatom Nedra (the management company of the mining division of Rosatom Corporation," the press service said. "Key operating results of the division were presented and recommendations were received on improvement of transparency and quality of public reporting. Uranium mining companies delivered production targets by 100%," it said.

First Deputy CEO of Rosatom Nedra Alexey Shemetov informed about the work results and plans of non-uranium businesses for the next year. New businesses now generate 37.5% of total revenues, while their figure was just 8% before, he noted. Commercial operation of the Severnoye goldfield in Yakutia kicked off. One and a half metric tons of gold were extracted, with the 100% delivery of the mining target.
