ASTANA, October 13. /TASS/. The gas hub in Turkey proposed for creation could become the platform for setting the gas price, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday at the meeting with Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"During the operation of this hub that we can create together, certainly this would be the platform not merely for supplies but also for price setting, because the pricing issue is the very important issue," Putin said.

"These prices are exorbitant now. We could smoothly adjust [them] at a normal market level, without any political coloration," the Russian leader added.
