Accusations against Rosneft of Iranian oil supply to Europe illegal, says CEO

ST. PETERSBURG, June 18. /TASS/. The accusations made by the US president’s administration against Rosneft of supply of Iranian oil to Europe are illegal, Chief Executive Officer of Russia’s oil major Igor Sechin said at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

"The US administration’s officials have again accused the company of supplies of Iranian oil to Europe absolutely baselessly and illegally," he noted, saying thank you to the Russian Foreign Ministry, which protested against "fabricated" accusations made by high-ranked US officials.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum organized by the Roscongress Foundation is running from June 15 to 18. This year’s forum is dubbed: ‘New Opportunities in a New World’. TASS serves as the event’s official photo hosting agency and the information partner.
