STOCKHOLM, June 3. /TASS/. Finnish electrical utility Fortum has disconnected from the cross-border power transmission line between Imatra in Finland and Svetogorsk in Russia, Bloomberg news agency said on Friday.
"The interconnector between Imatra in Finland and Svetogorsk in Russia has been disconnected until further notice after flows were suspended," the news agency said, citing a company filing.
RAO Nordic Oy, a subsidiary of the Russian energy company Inter RAO, said earlier that electricity export to Finland was halted since May 14 due to non-payment by the Finnish side for it.
