BERLIN, March 30. /TASS/. German authorities have put into effect an emergency plan for the case of energy supplies termination from Russia, Economy Minister Robert Habeck said at the press conference in Wednesday.

"There was a range of statements from the Russian side that if this [payment for gas in rubles] does not take place, supplies will be halted. To get prepared for such situation, I announced the first warning level within the gas directive framework this morning," the Minister said. The emergency plan stipulates three stages and this refers to the first one, he noted.

"It provides for monitoring of the situation," Habeck said. A crisis center will be established in the ministry at this stage, he added.
