ST. PETERSBURG, March 23. /TASS/. Air defenses destroyed more than 60 unmanned aerial vehicles in the Leningrad Region, the area’s governor, Alexander Drozdenko, said on his Max channel.

"More than 60 UAVs have been destroyed in the Leningrad Region in less than 24 hours," he wrote.

According to reports, one of the drones damaged a power line tower in the Vyborgsky District as it crashed.

Drozdenko noted that efforts to repel the UAV attack are ongoing.
