MOSCOW, February 14. /TASS/. Russia’s Almaz-Antey Group will feature battlefield air defense systems at the IDEX 2025 international arms show that will run in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on February 17-21, the Group’s press office said on Friday.
"During the exhibition’s work, visitors will be able to see battlefield air defenses systems produced by the Group. In particular, its display stand will demonstrate the S-300V4 Antey-4000 surface-to-air missile system and the Viking anti-aircraft missile system," the Almaz-Antey Group said.
The S-300V4 Antey-4000 long-range surface-to-air missile system is designed to engage existing and prospective tactical and strategic aircraft, including those based on Stealth technology, medium-range ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, airborne early warning and control systems, target acquisition and fire control systems and loitering jammers.
"The Viking all-weather, multichannel, highly mobile medium-range surface-to-air missile system is designed to provide air defense for troops and various installations against massive strikes by enemy modern and advanced air attack weapons in a contested electronic warfare and fire intensive environment. The Viking’s combat capabilities can be manufactured on both tracked and wheeled cross-country platforms," the press office said.
In addition, the product line of point air defense systems will also feature the S-350E Vityaz surface-to-air missile launcher. The Vityaz is capable of simultaneously repelling strikes of various types of air attack weapons from any direction. The S-350E Vityaz system features increased survivability achieved through its ability to disperse combat vehicles over a sufficiently large distance, and also the capability to maneuver and change positions within a short period of time. Also, the S-350E can operate both autonomously and under the control of higher-level command posts.
