Russian Pacific Fleet’s task force leaves Indonesia after port call

The visit was carried out as part of an effort to strengthen partnership in the Asia-Pacific region

VLADIVOSTOK, October 27. /TASS/. A task force of the Russian Pacific Fleet’s warships completed a visit to Indonesia and left the port of Tanjung Perak, the fleet’s press service said on Friday.

"The Admiral Tributs and the Admiral Panteleyev large anti-submarine ships left the Indonesian port of Tanjung Perak in the city of Surabaya after completing their business visit. Currently, the task force is crossing the Java Sea, moving northwest," it said.

The visit was carried out as part of an effort to strengthen partnership in the Asia-Pacific region. The goal of the task force’s long voyage is to demonstrate St. Andrew’s flag in the region and enhance naval cooperation with foreign countries.
