Over 530 tonnes of humanitarian cargoes delivered to Ukraine, DPR, LPR in past day

MOSCOW, June 8. /TASS/. People in Ukraine’s southern regions as well as in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR) receive on Wednesday 537 tonnes of humanitarian aid, Mikhail Mizintsev, chief of Russia’s National Defense Management Center, said on Wednesday.

"Eight humanitarian operations are being conducted on June 8, 2022 in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, in the Kharkov and Kherson regions, in which 537 tonnes of essentials and food are distributed among the population," said Mizintsev, who heads the Russian Joint Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine.

Since March 2, a total of 27,976.7 tonnes of humanitarian cargoes, including essentials, food, medicines and medical products, have been delivered to Ukraine by Russia. As many as 1,130 humanitarian operations have been conducted.
