Russia says its missiles destroyed ammunition plant in Brovary

Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov said that operational-tactical aviation destroyed 68 military targets in Ukraine

MOSCOW, April 17. /TASS/. Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov on Sunday said its high-precision air-launched missiles destroyed an ammunition plant near the town of Brovary in the Kiev Region.

"High-precision air-launched missiles destroyed an ammunition plant near the town of Brovary in the Kiev Region during past night," he said.

According to the spokesman, operational-tactical aviation destroyed 68 military targets in Ukraine. "They include two S-300 illumination and guidance locators in the Krivaya Luka and Krasnoarmeysk regions and one Osa AKM anti-aircraft missile system, six depots of rocket and artillery weapons and fuel in the Severodonetsk region," he said.

Konashenkov said that operational-tactical aviation also hit 40 clusters of Ukrainian military equipment and personnel in the settlements of Kremennaya, Krasny Liman, Kolodezi, Torskoye, Yampolovka and Novosyolovka.

"Army aviation hit four accumulations of manpower and equipment, as well as a convoy of vehicles on the march during the night," he said. "More than 50 Ukrainian servicemen, seven infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers and 14 armored vehicles were destroyed.".
