NEW YORK, December 11. /TASSS/. Russian film "Loveless" by Andrey Zvyagintsev has been nominated for the Golden Globe Award in the Best Motion Picture - Foreign Language category. The nominees were announced on Monday and listed on the Golden Globe Awards website.
The specified category also features "First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers" by Angelina Jolie representing Cambodia and Sweden’s "The Square" by Ruben Ostlund that received the main prize of the Cannes Festival this year.
Apart from them, the Russian film will also compete with "Fantastic Woman" ("Una mujer fantastica") by Chile’s Sebastian Lelio and Germany’s film "In the Fade" by Fatih Akin .
The 75th Golden Globe Award ceremony will be held in Beverly Hills (California) on January 7, 2018.
