Russian experts made no firm conclusions on resumption of flights to Egypt in near future

Egyptian authorities need to focus on working with the staff in national airports, Russian Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov said

MOSCOW, February 20. /TASS/. Russian aviation experts did not make definite conclusions regarding quick resumption of air traffic with Egypt, Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov said on Monday on the air with Rossiya 24 TV Channel.

"A team of specialists and experts arrived from Cairo has not yet arrived at a firm conclusion that we will be ready to resume the air traffic even in respect of Cairo in near future," the minister said.

Egyptian authorities need to focus on working with the staff in national airports, Sokolov said.

"The most important point our Egyptian colleagues need to focus on now is work with the staff supervising the aviation security and monitoring access to the airside and to the airport on the whole," he added.
