US envoy to UN to present ‘irrefutable evidence’ of Iran violating its commitments

NBC news earlier reported citing US administration sources that Haley was going to present evidence later this week that Iran supplied missiles to rebels in Yemen

UN, December 14. /TASS/. US Permanent Representative to the United Nations Nikki Haley will on Thursday present "irrefutable evidence" that Tehran violates its international commitments, the US mission to the UN said.

"She will outline Iran’s ongoing destabilizing activities in the Middle East region and elsewhere in the world. During the briefing, Ambassador Haley will offer irrefutable evidence that Iran has deliberately violated its international obligations and has tried and failed to cover up these violations," the mission said in a statement.

The statement did not specify the nature of those violations, saying only that the diplomat will "highlight recent findings" communicated in the UN Security Council implementation report on Resolution 2231. The resolution was adopted in 2015 in support of the nuclear deal with Iran.

The event will take place at 11:30 a.m. EST at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, DC, which houses the headquarters of the Defense Intelligence Agency.
