SOCHI, May 3. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman al-Safadi on Thursday discussed the outlook for the two countries’ cooperation in nuclear power.
"We have discussed prospects for our cooperation in the peaceful uses of nuclear power and cooperation in education and the humanitarian field. We proceed from the understanding that the plans taking shape at the moment will be translated into reality," Lavrov told a news conference after the talks.
He said special attention was paid to the need for stepping up trading and economic cooperation.
"In this connection we attach great importance to preparations for the fourth meeting of the inter-governmental commission for trading and economic cooperation due in the third quarter of this year," Lavrov said.
