CHELYABINSK, May 14. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian drug police in south Urals’ Chelyabinsk region have confiscated around seven kilograms of synthetic drugs in detention of a criminal group in the regional centre. This is one of largest synthetic drug batches in the history of regional security services, the Russian drug watchdog told ITAR-TASS on Wednesday.

“Drugs have not been seized in similar amounts for the past year,” the Federal Service for Control over Drug Circulation said, noting that found drugs would have been enough for about one million of conventional doses (from 0.1 to 0.001 grams), each of them is sufficient for a deadly poisoning.

Several packs with lethal substance were found at the residence place of two young drug mules from Perm and Sverdlovsk Regions in the Urals, as the latter had organized a steady drug sale channel. Living in a rented flat without registration they were receiving drugs for further sale through the Internet. They face a life in prison.
