GENEVA, February 10. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian and U.S. diplomats will meet U.N./LAS Special Envoy for Syria Lakhdar Brahimi in Geneva this week, a Russian well-informed diplomatic source told Itar-Tass.
“The parties will exchange views on Syrian issues in order to achieve progress at the negotiations in Geneva. Russia will be represented by Deputy Foreign Ministry Gennady Gatilov,” the source said, adding “U.S. Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman will arrive in Geneva soon.
