WARSAW, April 04. /ITAR-TASS/. Polish customs officers have confiscated a consignment of 150 kilograms of heroin prepackaged in 300 packs. They were found in a truck that supposedly had entered Poland from across the Ukrainian border, the Polish Finance Ministry said.
The truck was stopped for inspection not far from the town of Medyka where the Polish-Ukrainian border is located.
According to representatives of the Polish Finance Ministry, this is the largest consignment of heavy drugs confiscated in Poland over a period of seven years. Its approximate cost on the black market may come to around $10 million.
