Russian, French top diplomats emphasize need to implement Minsk deal

MOSCOW, November 17./TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his French counterpart Jean-Marc Ayrault emphasized in a telephone conversation on Thursday the importance of implementation of the political part of the Minsk agreements, the Russian Foreign Ministry said, adding that the phone call was initiated by the French side.

"The ministers also discussed priority tasks of the Normandy Four within the context of the implementation of the Minsk agreements to end the Ukrainian crisis, emphasizing a need a need to implement their political part," the ministry said.
