Russian energy minister to hold talks with European Commission official

The meeting will be held on November 25 in Moscow

MOSCOW, November 18. /TASS/. Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak will meet with European Commission Vice President for the Energy Union Maros Sefcovic in late November to discuss Russian-European energy cooperation.

The meeting will be held on November 25 in Moscow and will focus on "a wide range of issues of energy cooperation between Russia and the European Union," the Russian Energy Ministry said late Thursday.

The ministry earlier said that is was in talks about the meeting due to the emerging risks to the Russian gas deliveries to Europe via Ukraine.
