BEIJING, September 3. / TASS / Russian gas major Gazprom intends to supply China only with own gas from Sakhalin, Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller said on Thursday.
"Gazprom is in talks to supply Gazprom gas," he said, while answering journalists' questions about whether gas from other suppliers can be delivered through the pipeline.
Previously, TASS reported that head of Russian oil giant Rosneft Igor Sechin spoke about the company's ambitions to supply gas to China. In addition, Rosneft Vice President Vlada Rusakova said that Rosneft is ready to supply about 16 billion cubic meters of gas annually from its eastern fields through the Power of Siberia pipeline by 2020.
