MOSCOW, November 27. /TASS/. Russian Defense Ministry has dismissed Western media rumors quoting the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights the Russian Aerospace Force has allegedly dealt an air strike against Al Shafah village in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor province.

"Russian Aerospace Force planes have not been used to attack Al Shafah in Deir ez-Zor province," the Defense Ministry said.

The Defense Ministry stressed once again that Russia’s Aerospace Force attacks only international terrorist groups and only outside populated areas.

"All information about such facilities is checked and verified on-line via various channels on the ground and by drones. Claims by the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights Russian planes have raided Al Shafah are another in a series of fakes," the Russian Defense Ministry said.
