Russia is successfully ensuring its security, Putin says

The Russian leader said the citizens are expecting drastic changes in a large number of spheres, as well

MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. Russia manages to ensure its own security in a reliable and guaranteed way, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday.

"We have ensured the Russian state’s security in a reliable and guaranteed way," Putin told a meeting of the All-Russia People’s Front, praising joint work on reviving the Army and the Fleet and also the country’s military and industrial sector.

"But now we need to make the next much more responsible and large-scale step, this means a much more difficult step - we need to do in civilian areas, in industry, science, education, healthcare and infrastructure development what we did in the sphere of ensuring the country’s military capability - to make a breakthrough in all these areas," Putin said.

According to Putin, Russian citizens are expecting these drastic changes.
