22 injured in Ukrainian night club fire

14 have been taken to hospital, including two people remaining at the intensive care department

KIEV, November 27. /TASS/. More than 20 people got injured in a fire at the MI100 entertainment center in west Ukraine’s Lvov, the regional emergency authority said on its website on Sunday.

"As the rescuers arrived to the scene, they saw fire at the area of 50 square meters," the authority said. "The immediate decision was to evacuate the visitors."

"The total of 250 people has been evacuated," the website statement reads. The space was full of smoke, and a panic began, the rescuers said.

"22 people have addressed for medical assistance in Lvov, and 14 have been taken to hospital, including two people remaining at the intensive care department," the emergency authority said.

The fire has been extinguished by now. Reasons of the incident will be available later.
