VIENNA, September 14. /TASS/. German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier is planning to travel to the Donbass region during his visit to Ukraine on September 14-15, German Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Sawsan Chebli told a press briefing in Berlin on Wednesday.
"(The trip includes) eastern Ukraine as well, which city I cannot say just now. The trip will not be limited to Kiev," she told reporters. Chebli later noted that Steinmeier is planning to travel to Donbass in the morning on September 15 and visit the city of Kramatorsk.
The German top diplomat earlier said that he was going, together with his French counterpart, Jean-Marc Ayrault, to discuss with the Ukrainian president, prime minister and representatives of the parliamentary parties an opportunity to accelerate the implementation of the Minsk agreement on the settlement in the Donbass region during his visit to Ukraine.
