Number of militants liquidated in Russia's Dagestan increases to six — source

MAKHACHKALA, September 7. /TASS/. The number of militants that have been liquidated in Dagestan has increased to six, a source in the republic’s law enforcement agencies told TASS on Wednesday.

"During a special operation in the town of Izberbash two more militants have been killed. Their identities are being established," he said.

Previous reports said that four militants were liquidated: three - in Makhachkala and one - in Izberbash. The counter-terrorism operation regime was introduced in two towns of the republic on Wednesday morning.

The counter-terrorism operation regime was introduced in Izberbash at 06:00 am, and in the Kirovsky district of Makhachkala - at 07:00 am. Security forces blocked in these cities two private homes where the militants were hiding.
