MINSK, August 26. /TASS/. Coordinators of sub-groups of the Contact Group on settlement of the situation in Ukraine’s east began talks in Minsk, Belarusian Foreign Ministry said on Friday.
"The talks on settlement of the situation in Ukraine’s east have begun in Minsk with a meeting of working groups’ coordinators," the ministry twitted.
During Friday, meetings will feature sub-groups on security, humanitarian, political and economic issues. Later on, the Contact Group will have its meeting.
Members of the Contact Group for the settlement of the situation in the east of Ukraine at a meeting in Minsk on April 29 agreed on a complete ceasefire in Donbass starting from midnight on April 30. It is an eighth ceasefire agreement since the autumn of 2014. The sides however continue accusing each other of ceasefire violations.
