DONETSK, July 14. /TASS/. A source in the security agencies of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic has reported that 180 shells had been fired by Ukrainian forces at Donetsk, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya and southern outskirts of the unrecognized republic over the past 24 hours.
"From 7:50pm to 2:45 am, Ukrainian forces shelled the settlements of Zaytsevo near Gorlovka, Trudovskiye and Alexandrovka , outskirts of the Volvo Center and airport, industrial areas near Yasinovataya, as well as villages of Sakhanka, Kominternovo and Leninskoye in the Novoazovsky district in the south of the republic," Donetsk News Agency quoted the source as saying. "In total, 180 shells were fired at these territories," he added.
Information about injuries is being verified.
As for the territory of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), the loval milita have reported 17 cases of shelling.
According to LPR people’s militia, Ukrainian forces shelled Stanitsa Luganskaya, Lozovoye, Kalinovo, Slavyanoserbsk, Golubovskoye, Zhelobok, Molodezhnoye and Mariyevka. They used mortars, armored vehicles, small arms. "The work of snipers was also registered," Lugansk Inform Center quoted LPR people’s militia as saying.
No one was injured in the shellings.
