MOSCOW, February 10. /TASS/. The Ukrainian forces have not yet made any active attempts to break through the encirclement in Debaltsevo, the press service of the defense ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) told the Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
"We have surrounded [the Ukrainian forces] on the outskirts of Debaltsevo. Occasional attacks from Debaltsevo are launched at the Logvinovo settlement which has been recently freed," the press service said. "They are aimed at constraining our actions and distracting us, but we successfully repel the attacks. They [the Ukrainian forces] make no comprehensive attempts to break through the encirclement," he added.
The self-defense forces have successfully repelled attacks in the settlement of Logvinovo, located on a strategically important highway Debaltsevo-Mariupol.
"Shellings in Donetsk, Uglegorsk, Gorlovka and Telmanovo were registered overnight [to February 10]. All in all, around 37 shellings," the press service said.
