KIEV, December 28. /TASS/. Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko has ordered yje government to take measures to stop the practice of roling electricity cuts, the press service of the Ukrainian head of state reported on Sunday.
“I think it inadmissible to continue the practice of rolling blackouts, especially ahead of the holidays,” he said at a meeting with Ukrainian Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Vladimir Demchishin.
The minister said that in the current situation the only way out was to import electricity.
Poroshenko said it was the job of state enterprises. “There ought to be no go-betweens in imports of electricity,” he stressed.
