MOSCOW, December 16. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed the Palestinian-Israeli settlement with his Israeli counterpart Avigdor Lieberman in a telephone talk on Tuesday.
The conversation was held on Israel’s initiative, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
Lavrov and Lieberman exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East with the focus on the Palestinian-Israeli settlement, the ministry said.
“By discussing practical issues of Russian-Israeli relations the parties showed interest in further development of multilateral bilateral cooperation, including an active political dialogue,” it said.
