ROME, November 6. /TASS/. Russia is trying to seed discord among EU member-states over the Ukrainian problem, the union’s High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Federica Mogherini said on Thursday as she answered questions from the Italian members of European Parliament at a conference in the upper house of Italian parliament.
She warned that Europe would make the biggest error if it got into “this trap”. Europe should keep up uniformity of ideas not only in words but also in sharing the approaches to what should be done to settle the crisis in Ukraine, she said.
On Friday, Mogherini, Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni and Defence Minister Roberto Pinotti are expected to open an inter-parliamentary conference for foreign affairs and security policy in Rome.
