Russian climber missing at Sumatra’s Sibayak volcano found by Indonesian police

Alexei Vesechko feels all right and needs no medical assistance

BANGKOK, October 2. /TASS/. A Russian national missing since September 29 in Indonesia’s Sumatra was found by local police overnight to Thursday, an officer on duty at the Russian embassy in Indonesia told TASS.

The man, Alexei Vasechko, went missing when we has ascending Mount Sibayak, Sumatra’s most often climbed volcano. His absence was reported to police by representatives of the hotel he was staying.

Vesechko feels all right and needs no medical assistance, the Russian diplomat said.
