DONETSK, July 14. /ITAR-TASS/. Civilians are being evacuated daily from Donetsk People’s Republic, the press service of self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic Klavdia Kulbatskaya told ITAR-TASS on Monday.
Meanwhile, she denied some media reports that the Donetsk People’s Republic had signed a decree to evacuate civilians.
In her words, she knows nothing about this information.
The situation is relatively calm in the city of Donetsk, the press service of the city mayor’s office said. Life-supporting systems in the city operate in routine mode. Restoration of an electric power substation in Proletarsky district of the city continues. The power substation’s equipment was automatically switched off due to a strong thunderstorm overnight, the website of the mayor’s office said.
Public transport is running according to schedule.
The thunderstorm has cut power supplies from two electric power substations in the city overnight, the mayor’s office said earlier in the day. One of these power substations has already been restored on Monday morning.
Battles continued in Donetsk region near Saur-Mogila, Marinovka and Toreza, where militias had been firing at Ukrainian warplanes from air defense systems overnight, news agency Novorossia reported.
