US not to be part of Israel’s response to Iranian strike — Administration

According to the US official, the Iranian strike was carried out "from territory of Iran, Iraq, Syria and Yemen

WASHINGTON, April 14. /TASS/. The US will not be a part of any potential Israel’s response to the recent Iranian strike, a high-ranking US Administration representative said.

"We are committed to defending Israel. We will not become a part of any response from their side. This is our consistent approach," he said during a phone briefing in regards to the Iranian airstrike at Israel.

According to the US official, the Iranian strike was carried out "from territory of Iran, Iraq, Syria and Yemen." The operation took place on Saturday night in response to the elimination of seven senior elite Iranian officers, including two generals, via a precision airstrike at the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
