KIEV, April 18. /TASS/. Almost three-thirds of voters who picked sides are ready to support Vladimir Zelensky in the runoff election in Ukraine that will be held on April 21, while 27% will back incumbent President Pyotr Poroshenko. These are the results of the poll that the Ukrainian sociological group Rating carried out and that were released on Thursday.

That said, 58% of those who will take part in the election back Zelensky and 22% will vote for Poroshenko.
In general, 52% of those polled expressed readiness to support Zelensky, while 19% intend to vote for Poroshenko, 19% still have no opinion on the issue and 10% will not go to the polls.
The results of the poll showed that Zelensky is ahead of his rival among all age categories. He is the leader among the residents of eastern, southern and central Ukraine, and in the west the positions of both candidates are almost equal.
The investigation was carried out on April 12-16 among 3,000 residents. The margin of sampling error is no more than 1.8%.
