Russians say Putin can ensure both stability and reforms — poll

Some 63% said Putin had a plan on overcoming the crisis

MOSCOW, November 24. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin can ensure both stability and reforms in the country, Director General of the Russian Public Opinion Research Center Valery Fyodorov said on Friday citing the survey.

The respondents answered a question if Putin can maintain stability in the country. "Some 84% in August and 90% in September believed that this politician will be definitely able to ensure stability," Fyodorov told a scientific conference, "Time for Big Changes: Politics and Politicians."

In August 61% and in September 72% of respondents said Putin would be able to ensure both stability and changes, he added.

Some 63% said Putin had a plan on overcoming the crisis, while another 22% said the opposite thing.
