Russia conducts six humanitarian operations in Syria in 24 hours

A total of 2,850 people have received 1.7 tonnes of humanitarian aid over the past 24 hours

MOSCOW, March 27. /TASS/. The Russian military has carried out six humanitarian operations in Syria over the past 24 hours, the Russian Center for the reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria said in its daily bulletin on Monday.

"Over the past 24 hours, the Russian Center for the reconciliation of the warring parties has carried out six humanitarian operations in the city of Aleppo and in the populated locality of Darmina in Latakia province. In Aleppo, 2,500 portions of hot food, bread and water have been handed over to local residents. In the Darmina inhabited locality, residents have received 350 food packages," the center said.

A total of 2,850 people have received humanitarian aid over the past 24 hours. The total weight of the humanitarian cargo was 1.7 tonnes.

The Russian military also noted that humanitarian convoys carrying UN cargo had been dispatched from the city of Damascus to the populated localities of Souq Wadi Barada and Deir Muqarram (Damascus province) with the assistance of the Russian Center for the reconciliation of the warring parties.
